Transforming Mumbai's Suburban Rail Network

Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation Ltd. (MRVCL) is a key player in enhancing Mumbai's railway infrastructure, dedicated to ensuring efficient and sustainable transport solutions. Managed by Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation Ltd. (MRVCL), this project covers 200 track kilometres of Broad Gauge Ballasted Track, designed for a 20-ton axle load and speeds up to 160 km/hr, this project aims to transform the suburban rail experience in one of India’s busiest metropolitan regions.MRVCL includes the construction of 22 major bridges, 104 minor bridges, 6 road over bridges, 19 road under bridges, 2 flyovers, and 3 tunnels totalling 2.692 km in length.

We aim to upgrade Mumbai's rail infrastructure, ensuring efficient, safe, and high-capacity services. Funded by the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), MRVCL exemplifies international collaboration in urban transport development.

Our role involves preparing preliminary design and cost estimation for civil and system works, including Electrical, Signalling, and Telecommunications (S&T). We also develop comprehensive tender documents, manage the bid process, and handle negotiations to select the best contractors and suppliers.

We also provide project management services, ensuring that the project meets its milestones within the stipulated timelines and budget while maintaining high-quality standards. By overseeing execution, we foster effective communication among stakeholders and address challenges promptly.

The Mumbai Suburban Transport Project III will redefine urban mobility in Mumbai, enhancing connectivity and contributing to the city's growth.
