Assam state is divided in two parts by the river Bramhaputra and has only 5 bridges that are operational for crossing 640 Kms of river in the State. The Government of Assam, with partial funding from National Development Bank (NDB) has proposed a 12.21 Kms connectivity including four-lane extra-dosed PSC bridge over the river Brahmaputra connecting Palashbari to Sualkochi. For a length of 3600 m, the bridge has multi-span extra-dosed units of PSC superstructure. The project also has a 216-metre viaduct, a 5387-metre approach road with one traffic junction at National Highway-17 with a service road on the Palashbari side, an 864-metre elevated road, and a 1927-metre approach road with a service road and a rotary at the end that meets at Bongsor- Sualkuchi Road on the North Bank. 

Rodic as the lead partner involves comprehensive responsibilities, from reviewing the Detailed Project Report (DPR) to assisting the government in the bidding process for project award. Our primary focus is on managing and supervising the entire project to ensure it is completed within the stipulated time and budget. This project is set to significantly improve transportation and socio-economic conditions in the region by providing a crucial link across the Brahmaputra River, which currently has only five operational bridges over a 640 km stretch within Assam.
